A pediatric home health care company is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide one-on-one care. Responsibilities include administering medications and performing critical care treatments. Applicants must hold a current Florida LPN license and possess a BLS CPR card. The position offers a flexible schedule and comprehensive benefits including PTO and medical coverage. Competitive hourly wage of $32.00 - $35.00.

Qualificações

• Experience with G-tube, trach, and vent care preferred.
• Must have a current TB Skin Test or Blood Test.
• Alzheimer's training is required but free training is provided.

Responsabilidades

• Administer medications as per physician orders.
• Perform treatments for nutrition and respiratory care.
• Conduct seizure assessments and provide treatment.

Responsibilities of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)

• Medication administration per physician orders
• Physician ordered treatments for:
  • Nutrition via a feeding tube
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Suctioningnasal, oral and/or endotracheal
  • Ventilation care
  • Seizure assessment and treatment

Requirements for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)

• Current, active Florida LPN license
• Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)
• G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train
• TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
• Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed)
• 1- Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website)
