A pediatric home health care provider is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) in Florida. This role offers flexibility with responsibilities including medication administration and specialized treatments. Candidates must have an active Florida LPN license, current CPR certification, and ideally experience with G-tubes and tracheostomies. Qualifications

• Must have a valid Florida LPN license.
• Current BLS CPR card required (in-person).
• Experience with G-tube, trach, or vent is necessary or willing to train.
• TB Skin Test (PPD) or Blood Test (QF) is mandatory.
• Alzheimer's training provided at no cost if needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication as per physician orders.
• Carry out physician ordered treatments including feeding tube care.
• Perform tracheostomy care and suctioning.
• Provide ventilation care and seizure assessment.

Responsibilities of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)

• Medication administration per physician orders
• Physician ordered treatments for:
  • Nutrition via a feeding tube
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Suctioning—nasal, oral and/or endotracheal
  • Ventilation care
  • Seizure assessment and treatment

Requirements for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)

• Current, active Florida LPN license
• Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)
• G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train
• TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
• Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed)
• 1- Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website)
