Dayton Children’s Hospital is seeking a Laboratory Staff Assistant II (LSAII) for the Outreach department. This role performs phlebotomy, specimen management, and EKG testing for patients from neonates to adults, and conducts waived tests under strict QA/QC controls. Travel to various Dayton Children’s locations may be required.

Education required is a GED/high school diploma with 0–2 years of experience; pediatric phlebotomy and related trainings are preferred, as is phlebotomy certification.

Mansioni

• Perform phlebotomy, specimen management and EKG testing for neonatal to adult patients.
• Independently perform waived laboratory tests with quality controls.
• Support multiple Dayton Children’s Hospital locations including Outreach and other sites; may travel as needed.
• Ensure QA/QC activities meet regulatory standards and maintain lab integrity.
