$25K Start Date Bonus - Seeking FT Pediatric Intensivist in Summerville, SC!

Envision Physician Services has an opportunity for a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Pediatric Intensivist for our inpatient pediatric and pediatric critical care practice at Summerville Medical Center (SMC) in Summerville, SC. Summerville Medical Center is home to the busiest Pediatric Emergency Room in South Carolina and is staffed with Peds EM trained physicians. Pediatric subspecialty support includes onsite Pediatric Surgery, GI, ENT, and Anesthesia, with telemedicine coverage for Pediatric Cardiology. There is active recruitment for a remote telemedicine Pediatric Neurology service. The hospital aims to further develop its PICU program to serve as the premier pediatric care provider in the Summerville area.

• Staffing Model: 2 Pediatric Intensivists sharing call coverage evenly
• Schedule: Flexible call schedule to accommodate personal needs

  • Call from home at night
• Teaching: Family practice residency program starting this year, with active resident participation in rounds
• Coverage includes PICU/General Pediatrics, and ER Consults
  • 6 beds with 2 observation beds
  • 2022 Peds/PICU Data:
    • 504 Admissions, including 434 Pediatric and 70 PICU admits
    • Average Daily Census (ADC): 4
