Job Summary:

Trident Health and Summerville Medical Center are seeking an experienced OB/GYN physician to serve as Residency Program Director, leading our existing residency program in Charleston, South Carolina.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in curriculum development and maintain didactics
• Serve as a role model and mentor for Internal Medicine residents
• Assist with administrative duties, including resident recruitment, clinical competency committee, and program evaluation committee
• Lead initiatives in quality improvement projects, research, and scholarly activities
• Teaching and administrative experience is highly desirable

Qualified Candidates/Details:

• Board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active South Carolina medical license or ability to obtain one prior to start date
• Minimum of four years post-residency experience as an active faculty member in an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency program
• Willingness to balance administrative, teaching, and clinical responsibilities (approximately 50/50 split)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
