Cook Children’s Health Care System is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist in Fort Worth, Texas. This inpatient role focuses on pediatric feeding/swallowing, articulation, and language disorders, with 40 hours per week and a standard 8-hour shift.

The SLP will evaluate, treat, and educate patients and families, provide swallow studies with radiology collaboration, and maintain documentation per policy. Start ASAP, ongoing, Staff employment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech/language pathology, communication disorders, or related.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment.
• State license or eligible for state licensure.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech/Language Pathology, or eligible for application upon completion of Clinical Fellowship Year and must be obtained within 12 months of hire to maintain employment at Cook.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient speech-language pathology services focused on functional skills to enhance development and restore function for pediatric patients.
• Perform evaluations and provide treatment, home programming, and caregiver education per department policies.
• Coordinate swallow function studies in collaboration with radiology for both inpatients and outpatients.
