Job summary

Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Svc is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for a 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM shift on weekends, with every-other-Sat/Sun coverage and holiday rotation. You will float to units as needed, receive two weeks of classroom training, and support pediatric, adult, and older adult patients in a dynamic health system.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in Michigan.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Satisfactory clinical experience for psychiatric/medical settings.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' needs and develop plans of care with an interdisciplinary team.
• Provide nursing care and coordinate with physicians.
• Educate patients and families about discharge and aftercare planning.
