Job summary

Carle Health in Illinois is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Outpatient Infusion Department/Pediatric Unit. This eleven-bed unit combines inpatient and 24/7 outpatient infusion services, delivering care to patients from ten days old through adulthood.

You will perform assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, monitor fluids and labs, and ensure safety while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days – American Heart Association (AHA)
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Illinois (IDFPR)
• National Nursing Certification within 3 years
• PALS within 1 year – American Heart Association (AHA)

Responsibilities

• Performs all responsibilities and duties required by unit as specific to the scope of service.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation of nursing care.
• Completes initial assessment upon patient admission and develops care plan.
• Administers medications, starts IVs, and monitors patient safety.
