Responsibilities include developing unit education plans, assessing learning needs, coordinating orientation and competency validation, and leading quality improvement initiatives to advance nursing

Qualificações

• BSN required within two years of hire.
• Current unencumbered nursing licensure in WV or eNLC.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Background checks as required by state.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and implements unit-specific staff education within nursing practice.
• Collaborates with leadership to identify educational needs via regulatory and quality monitors.
• Assesses learning needs and designs orientation and education plans.
• Supports performance improvement initiatives and unit scope of service reviews.
• Leads orientation for new staff and provides ongoing feedback.
• Supports competency validation and ongoing nursing education activities.
• Participates in staff development and quality improvement activities.
