Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to assist with basic nursing care and daily living activities in a rotating shift schedule. The role supports our Pediatrics team and involves recording vitals, assisting patients, and maintaining clean, prepared treatment areas.

Ideal candidates include CNAs or students seeking patient-care experience. 20 hours per week, rotating day/evening/night shifts, with extra compensation for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medical equipment/supplies preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record vital statistics and basic health information.
• Administer basic health care and medical treatments; assist with daily living activities.
• Clean patient living areas or treatment rooms and prepare treatment areas and equipment.
• Provide one-on-one care to patients when necessary and support RN/LPN supervision.
