Job summary

Sanford Health in Fargo, ND is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for day shifts. The role provides patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN/LPN supervision. Shifts are 8 hours, with a 40-hour work week, in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• If in ND and not CNA, must be on ND Nurse Aide Registry within 4 months.

Summary

The Patient Care Technician provides patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned patient under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

• If working in North Dakota (ND) and not a Certified Nursing Assistant, must be on the North Dakota Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry upon completion of training/competency validation or a maximum of four months from the date of initial employment.
• If working in Wisconsin, must be on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with current work eligibility or a student nurse, currently enrolled at a school approved by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing, who has completed a basic nursing course and 16 hours of clinical experience.
