Job summary

Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital is seeking a Staff RN to join the Infusion Special Services team in a full-time role. This position emphasizes specialized nursing care for children within a multidisciplinary setting in Tacoma, WA, with a focus on safety, family-centered care, and professional development.

The role requires a nursing degree and WA RN licensure, plus pediatric and acute-care experience. A strong emphasis on teamwork, learning, and ethical care aligns with the hospital’s mission

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• MSN/PhD/DNP/ARNP degree preferred.
• Current WA RN license or MLS endorsement.
• PEARS or PALS certification as unit requires.
• Current BLS certification.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• One year acute care experience preferred.
• IV therapy experience preferred.
• Central line experience preferred.
• Driver's license required; enhanced license or passport within 90 days.
• Automobile available for work.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and health-care team.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.
