Pediatric Infectious Disease
East Tennessee Children’s Hospital is seeking an additional Pediatric Infectious Disease physician. This is an opportunity to join a busy, established practice, focused on expert care for children of all ages, providing inpatient and outpatient consultations and follow up. This is a clinically dedicated position and will include infection prevention, antibiotic stewardship, hospital epidemiology and related quality duties. We maintain close, collaborative relationships with local and state public health authorities. Successful candidates will have a proven clinical history of the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases, providing consultations, lab interpretations, developing treatment plans, and patient/family education. The ideal candidate will be board-certified or eligible and fellowship trained in Pediatric Infectious disease and must be able to obtain a Tennessee Medical License.

This position has a potential opportunity for a faculty appointment with the University of Tennessee - Graduate School of Medicine, rank commensurate with experience. East Tennessee Children's Hospital will launch a pediatric residency program in 2027!
