Advocate Health Wake Forest Baptist Pediatric Infectious Disease unit seeks an experienced APP or PA to deliver inpatient and outpatient pediatric ID care. The role includes daily patient evaluations, telehealth for newborns, and OPAT coordination in a dynamic team with 8 MDs and 2 APPs.

The position offers a full-time, M-F schedule with hybrid options and 8–hour or 10-hour shift flexibility, aiming to reduce delays in care and prevent unnecessary admissions for vulnerable children.

Qualifications

• Must have or be eligible for a DEA license.
• Approved to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in NC.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required with expiration >90 days.
• PALS and ATLS preferred.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate daily hospitalized pediatric patients, esp. PICU/NICU.
• Expand outpatient access and telehealth for newborns with perinatal risk.
• Provide advanced clinical assessment, management and care coordination.
