Oregon Health & Science University is seeking an ICU Technician to support the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. You will assist RNs and physicians, maintain equipment, and help with patient transport, safety, and comfort in a high-acuity setting.

The role emphasizes indirect care, patient assistance, and collaboration with the care team, with a focus on infection control and quality of care for patients from birth to 18 years old.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 12-lead EKG, CBG QC compliance, Rehab training within 6 months.
• BLS certificate within 30 days of hire or prior to independent practice.

Responsibilities

• Indirect care: Maintains the patient care area and cleans equipment.
• Customer Services: Responds promptly to customer needs with patience and empathy.
• Patient Care: Observes infection prevention guidelines and assists with safety and comfort.
• Other Duties as Assigned: Assists with urgent ADLs, transports, and supplies.
