Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a registered nurse for the Technology Dependent ICU on the night shift. The role requires 12 months of RN experience, with pediatric ICU or step-down experience preferred. A BSN, Georgia RN licensure, and BLS are required; PALS/PEARS is expected within specified timelines.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team to provide age-appropriate, family-centered care and participate in ongoing professional development and competency assessments.

Qualifications

• RN experience required; pediatrics preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Georgia RN licensure or Multi-State licensure via eNLC.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment; PALS/PEARS within 1 year as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing process across the continuum to deliver patient-family-centered care.
• Provide care in the Technology Dependent ICU with an interdisciplinary team.
• Support timely admission, transfer and discharge to ensure patient flow.
