Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois per IDFPR.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days (AHA).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year (AHA).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 1 year (AHA).
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing care and documents with accuracy for unit-specific scope.
• Completes initial patient assessment and develops an appropriate plan of care.
• Administers medications using barcode scanning and monitors for safety.
• Collaborates with Pediatric Intensivists and hospital team to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintains safety and quality through communication, rounding, and updates.
