Job summary

The Valley Health System (VHS) is seeking a qualified registered nurse to provide safe, competent care within a busy hospital setting in Las Vegas, NV. The role emphasizes patient-centered care and professional leadership to support the healthcare team.

Qualifications include RN licensure in Nevada, BLS, and department-specific certifications. BSN is preferred and pre-employment assessments may be required as part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/ or equivalent within 6 months of hire.
• One-year acute care experience or completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification. Current ACLS/PALS/NRP as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
