Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Certification in clinical specialty area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Effectively uses the nursing process in patient care.
• Assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies for diverse patients, families and teams.
• Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources; acts as leader on the interdisciplinary team.
• Uses data and knowledge to evaluate and promote changes for optimal outcomes.
• Supports customer satisfaction and employee morale; improves nursing practices.
• Adapts communication and care to the patient population with privacy and informed consent considerations.
• Performs other related duties as required.
