Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital MICU is a 22-bed unit specializing in children with critical illness, including respiratory failure, sepsis, and metabolic crises. The role emphasizes family-centered care and a collaborative environment that supports learning and career growth.

We require a BSN and MA RN licensure, with a minimum of 1 year pediatric ICU experience or equivalent adult ICU ventilation experience. The position offers a sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Minimum of 1 year pediatric ICU experience or adult ICU with ventilated patients.
• Massachusetts RN Licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients with respiratory insufficiency or failure, DKA, asthma, sepsis, metabolic crises and technology-dependent comorbidities.
• Provide care to medical patients with life-threatening conditions across the pediatric age range.
• Collaborate in a team-based environment and pursue opportunities for learning and career growth.
• Practice family-centered care in the ICU setting.
