Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the MICU team. The role involves frontline care for critically ill pediatric patients, close collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and active participation in rounds and care planning.

The position emphasizes autonomous practice and clinical decision-making, with opportunities to engage in research, education, and quality improvement initiatives.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies.
• Minimum 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience.
• 1–2 years of Pediatric acute care NP or PA experience preferred; new graduates considered with ICU experience.

Mansioni

• Provide front-line care and coordination for complex, critically ill patients in the MICU, including assessment, diagnosis, interventions, bedside procedures, and family-centered care.
• Collaborate with acute care providers and interdisciplinary team during rounds; manage assigned patients daily.
• Participate in ongoing research and quality improvement initiatives.
• Educate patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Work 36 hours per week, rotating day/night shifts with a maximum of every third weekend.
