Job summary

UC Davis Health is seeking a Pediatric ICU Nurse Practitioner to provide independent advanced clinical care for a diverse pediatric population in the PICU. The role includes evaluation, treatment initiation, and collaboration with the ICU team under protocol and licensure.

Inpatient, unit-based responsibilities and education of staff are included. Applicants should hold CA NP licensure with board certification and CA RN license.

Qualifications

• Valid California RN license without restriction.
• California NP furnishing license and NP board certification.
• DEA certificate within 3 months of hire.
• American Heart Association BLS/ACLS required.
• PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Practice: primary focus, 90% of time.
• Other professional activity: 10% of time.
