UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in San Francisco seeks a Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join the PICU and TCUP teams, delivering safe, high-level care in collaboration with physicians, fellows and residents. The role includes rotating 12‑hour shifts, meeting productivity expectations, and working within a leading, research‑driven pediatric environment.

Candidates must hold a CA NP license (Acute Care Pediatric) with required certifications and demonstrate pediatric inpatient

Competenze

• Graduation from a California Board of Registered Nursing recognized Nurse Practitioner Program with a master's or doctoral degree aligned with an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Specialization.
• Nurse Practitioner 1: Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience working as an RN in a pediatric inpatient setting.
• Nurse Practitioner 2: Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience working as an NP in a pediatric inpatient or high acuity emergency department setting.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience working as an AC-PNP in a level III Pediatric Intensive Care Unit

• The Nurse Practitioner will act as a full member of the team taking responsibility for the safe delivery of care in collaboration with attending physicians, fellows and residents.
• Nurse Practitioners on the PICU and TCUP Team provide care in rotating 12h shifts.
