Memorial Hermann Health System seeks a Dietitian I to apply evidence-based medical nutrition therapy for patients of all ages at nutrition risk. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and provide guidance to less experienced staff.
The role requires a Bachelor’s in Food & Nutrition (Master’s if registration after Jan 1, 2024), CDR registration, Texas license, and CPR certification within six months.

The Dietitian I is responsible for the application of evidence based medical nutrition therapy for the evaluation and treatment of patients of all ages identified as possessing nutrition risk. Areas of responsibility include assessment of nutritional needs, provision of medical nutrition therapy and nutrition education. The incumbent is required to function on a multi-disciplinary team as a resource and to share expertise and apply feedback to improve patient outcomes. The Dietitian I will provide guidance and assistance to less experienced staff. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient served.
Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelors Degree in Food & Nutrition or related area. Master's required if registration was obtained after Jan 1, 2024
Licenses/Certifications Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and licensed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). CPR Certification (Heart Saver only) from either American Red Cross or American Heart Association or obtained within six (6) months of hire.
