Pediatric Hospitalist Physician at OnCall Solutions

Summary: A Pediatric Hospitalist Physician provides specialized medical care to infants and children in a hospital setting. The role involves flexibility with a locums lifestyle, attending to patients in the nursery and pediatric floor while performing required medical procedures. The physician must maintain an active Alabama state license and have relevant certifications including BLS, PALS, and NRP.

• Must have Pediatric experience in a hospital setting

Opportunity Details:

• Shift: 7:00 am - 7:00 am (24 hours)
• See patients in Nursery and Peds floor with some required procedures
• EMR: Medimobile and Cerner
• NICU / Newborn bed count: Peds - 12, Nursery - 30+
• Average Daily Census: Nursery 4-12 patients, Peds 2-6 patients

Requirements:

• Board Certified / Board Eligible
• Active Alabama state license (or providers with a Compact license)
• PALS certification
