Job summary

Pediatrix is seeking a Per Diem Pediatric Hospitalist in Sandusky, OH, to provide LII/SCN and pediatric coverage. Responsibilities include morning rounding and being available for out-of-house calls within 30 minutes. Candidates must be Board Certified, hold an Ohio License or IMLC, and have a clean background with a minimum of 1 year of experience. Benefits include coverage for travel expenses. Note: Per Diem team members are not eligible for PTO or holidays.

Qualifications

• Board Certified status is necessary.
• Must have Ohio License or IMLC.
• A clean background check is mandatory.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide LII/SCN and Pediatric coverage.
• Conduct morning rounding with limited out-of-house call.
• Start date is in May or June.

• Morning rounding; out-of-house call within 30 minutes of hospital
• May/June start

Benefits and Compensation

Pediatrix does cover per diem staff travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice. This position is W-2.
