The Pediatric Hospital Medicine team at BSWH McLane Children's Hospital is seeking a board certified or board eligible pediatrician for an immediate opening. Pediatric hospital medicine experience or fellowship is preferred, but not required. The selected candidate will provide clinical services in a variety of settings which includes the daytime teaching team with resident/fellows, daytime APP service, and night team. Applicants should have an interest in providing inpatient care to a diverse and complex population of medical and surgical patients. We offer access to an on-site PICU and a wide range of pediatric subspecialties. There are ample opportunities to participate in medical education, quality improvement and research. Excellent clinical, communication and collaborative skills are required. This is an employed position with a competitive salary, moving allowance, a comprehensive benefits package and no state income tax. About McLane Children's Medical Center: Our five-story McLane Children's Specialty Clinic is located next to our free-standing Children's Hospital in Temple, Texas. The hospital features include112 patient beds: forty-eight private medical/surgical rooms, sixteen private Pediatric ICU rooms and a 24-hour, level II pediatric emergency department and verified trauma center equipped to deal with the most serious pediatric trauma cases. A level IV, forty-eight bed Neonatal ICU is located nearby on the main BSWMC, Temple campus.
