Job summary

Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, PA, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Hospitalist to provide inpatient pediatric care. The physician will manage nursery care and pediatric admissions, with on-call coverage and hospital rounds on a one-week-on and one-week-off basis.

You will collaborate with families, primary care providers, nursing staff, and specialists to ensure high-quality pediatric care, while contributing to a supportive work environment that values work-life

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics, Neonatology or Family Medicine.
• Active Pennsylvania medical license and DEA registration.
• Strong communication skills with a family-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient pediatric care for infants, children and adolescents.
• Manage nursery coverage and pediatric admissions.
• Provide on-call coverage and hospital rounds on a one-week-on/one-week-off basis.
