Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, PA is seeking a full-time General Cardiologist to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

The role focuses on prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of cardiovascular disease while collaborating with primary care providers and hospital teams.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Active Pennsylvania medical license and DEA registration.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Experience in outpatient and inpatient cardiology practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cardiovascular evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions.
• Interpret and manage ECGs, stress tests, echocardiograms, Holter monitors, and other cardiovascular diagnostic studies.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and manage cardiovascular medications and therapies.
• Provide inpatient consultations and follow-up care as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding cardiovascular health, disease prevention, and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health record documentation.
• Participate in shared call coverage and quality improvement initiatives.

We are seeking a full-time, on-site General Cardiologist to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cardiovascular evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions.
