UM Shore Medical Group at Easton, a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), is seeking a full-time experienced Pediatric Hospitalist in Easton, MD. At Shore Regional Health, you can learn, grow, and make a lasting impact on patients and families. You’ll experience the support of a collaborative work environment and a sense of collegiality. This position involves caring for pediatrics admitted to the inpatient unit.

Job Description

1. UM Shore Medical Center: 126 licensed beds, low volume, 3 Pediatric Units.
2. Work-life balance: 12-hour shifts, 6 shifts bi-weekly.
3. Average Daily Encounters: 5-12 patients per day.
4. Responsibilities include rounding, consultations, admissions, and discharges for the well-baby nursery, special care nursery, pediatric unit, and attending deliveries as needed.
5. J1 Visa Sponsorship provided.

Qualifications

1. Medical degree or foreign equivalent.
2. Completion of residency training in Pediatrics.
3. Fellowship training in Pediatric Hospital Medicine is preferred.
4. Maryland medical license or eligibility.
5. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
6. Current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification.
7. Commitment to meeting CME requirements.

Additional Information

Compensation:

1. Base salary: $237,000 annually, with increased earning potential for additional clinical shifts.
2. Additional benefits include a generous sign-on bonus of $20,000-$25,000, housing allowance of up to $50,000 towards home purchase in the first year, relocation assistance up to $10,000, and a production bonus.
