Facility near DC seeking Pedatric Hospitalist/ER Locums coverage Rates: $190/hr Job Details

• Shifts: 12-hour shifts (days/nights), mix of weekday and weekend shifts
• Schedule: Full-time or Part-time options available
• On-Call: No on-call requirements
• Facility: 307-bed hospital with a Family Birthing Unit (Level 2 nursery) & a 10-bed pediatric unit
• Emergency Department Coverage: 4-bed Pediatric ED
• Responsibilities:
  • Cover inpatient pediatric unit and nursery
  • Attend high-risk deliveries ( 32 weeks)
  • Provide neonatal resuscitation & intubation
  • Perform procedures such as arterial puncture, lumbar puncture, umbilical vein catheterization, and pediatric resuscitation
• Average Admissions: Varies, dependent on census
• Patient Population: Pediatrics only
• EMR System: Epic
• Team Structure: 2 pediatricians per shift (1 covering floor, 1 covering ED)

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics REQUIRED
• Maryland Medical License or IMLC REQUIRED
• Minimum 3 years experience REQUIRED
• NRP, BLS, PALS REQUIRED
• Local drive-in candidates only REQUIRED
• DEA & CSR License REQUIRED
• Clean background/no malpractice HIGHLY PREFERRED
