Job summary

Children’s Minnesota is seeking a Security Officer to ensure a safe and secure campus across our Minnesota facilities. You will patrol the hospital and outlying buildings, respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, and promote a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to pass background checks, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior law enforcement or security experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment through patrol of the hospital, grounds and outlying buildings.
• Respond to all calls, both emergency and non-emergency, in priority order.
• Promote safety for patients, visitors and hospital employees.
