Job summary

Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for an on-site, full-time role in the HDVCH Pharmacy. You will work night shifts (8:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.), handling dispensing, Pyxis maintenance, sterile and non-sterile compounding, and emergency response support under supervision.

Ideal candidates possess a high school diploma, MI technician license, and national certification (PTCB/ExCPT). Priority given to hospital experience and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Required license and national certification (PTCB or ExCPT) to practice.
• Preferred associate degree and hospital experience.
• Licenses for MI pharmacy technicians must be current on hire.

Responsibilities

• Dispense first doses and cart fill.
• Handle Pyxis refills and inventory management.
• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding under supervision.
• Assist with code/emergency pharmacotherapy and phone triage.
