Job summary

MGA Homecare in Memphis, TN, is seeking a Pediatric Homecare Nurse (RN/LPN) for night shifts to deliver skilled nursing at patient homes. Under supervision, you’ll perform assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation in line with laws and policies.

The LPN/LVN must hold a current license, have reliable transportation, CPR certification, and the ability to work independently in a family-centered home health setting.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid/unencumbered license to practice as described by state law.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Copy of TB results or Chest x-ray provided.
• CPR certification provided per agency policy.
• Flexible, organized with ability to exercise independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing per plan of care and physician orders.
• Document clinical notes, orders, and care plans accurately and promptly.
• Observe aseptic technique and perform treatments/medications per care plan.
• Collaborate with RNs and other team members to adjust orders as patient's status changes.
• Attend mandated agency activities and adhere to MGA policies and handbook.
