Qualifications

• LVN with pediatric homecare experience.
• Must have experience with G-tube, trach, and vent care, or willing to train.
• BLS CPR certification is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Administer treatments as per physician's orders.
• Provide care for nutrition via feeding tube, tracheostomy, and suctioning.
• Monitor and assess patients for seizures and ventilation needs.

Responsibilities for Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs)

• Physician ordered treatments for:
  • Nutrition via a feeding tube
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Suctioning nasal, oral and/or endotracheal
  • Ventilation care
  • Seizure assessment and treatment

Requirements for Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs)

• Current, active Texas LVN license
• Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)
• G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train
