Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with CCLS certification and at least 2 years of experience in healthcare settings, plus reliable transportation. Pay is determined by experience and location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• CCLS certification from the Child Life Council.
• Two years of Child Life Specialist experience in a healthcare setting.
• Reliable transportation and ability to lift at least 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to identify psychosocial, financial, and environmental needs.
• Conduct initial and re-evaluation visits for Child Life needs.
• Communicate findings to supervisors, physicians, and care team.
• Report unsafe conditions and visit outcomes by end of day.
• Help implement and adjust the Plan of Care for safety and continuity.
• Participate in Plan of Care development and discharge planning.
• Verify and follow physician orders and care standards.
• Incorporate patient goals into the Plan of Care and provide education.

Education
