Job summary

Georgia Hospice Care is seeking a dedicated Child Life Specialist to provide home-based psychosocial support to children and families under physician orders.

You will conduct evaluations, coordinate with the care team, and help families navigate care with compassion and professionalism. Required: CCLS certification and 2 years in healthcare settings. Reliable transportation is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and CCLS certification required.
• Current CCLS certification required.
• 2 years of Child Life Specialist experience in a healthcare setting.
• Reliable transportation and ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assess psychosocial, financial, and environmental needs of patients.
• Perform initial and follow-up Child Life evaluations.
• Communicate findings to supervisors and physicians.
• Implement and revise the Plan of Care with the team.
• Counsel and include families in the Plan of Care.
• Maintain documentation and coordinate with clinical staff.
