Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and CCLS certification.
• Current CCLS certification required.
• 2 years of Child Life Specialist experience in healthcare settings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to identify psychosocial, financial and environmental needs.
• Conduct initial Child Life Specialist evaluation visits and re-evaluations.
• Communicate findings to the Supervisor, physician and care team.
• Develop, implement and revise the Plan of Care per physician orders.
• Counsel and instruct patients and families and coordinate services.
