Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. in New Hampton, Iowa, is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide in-home pediatric care. This role offers weekend days and a competitive hourly rate of $38 per hour with weekly pay.

The RN will plan, implement, and monitor care, administer medications, and coordinate with physicians to ensure quality outcomes for pediatric clients receiving contracted services. Licensure and certifications are required as stated.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current health certificate.
• PPD or chest X-ray on file.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Initiates and revises plan of care as patient status changes.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed; monitors responses.
• Coordinates care with physicians and caregivers; documents outcomes.
• Reviews care plans and provides education and discharge planning as applicable.
