Maxim Healthcare is hiring in Norwalk, Iowa for a Registered Nurse to work with a Pediatric patient in their own homes. Hourly Pay: $38 / hour. Available shifts: Part Time or Full Time Days.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and services for clients receiving contracted care.
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests revisions as patient status changes.
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and goals.
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient condition and reports to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, and monitors and documents effectiveness.
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols to identify education, care coordination, and discharge planning needs.
