Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide pediatric home healthcare in Manchester, Iowa. The role pays $38 per hour with night shifts Mon/Wed/Fri/Sat/Sun. Employment offers weekly paychecks and comprehensive benefits through Maxim.

The RN will implement and monitor plans of care, administer medications, and coordinate education and discharge planning for patients in their homes, with emphasis on safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

Current RN license for the state of practice.
Current Health Certificate as required by facility contract or state regulation.
Current PPD or Chest X-ray.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Responsibilities

Plan, implement, and evaluate client care using the nursing process.
Initiate and adjust plan of care with prescriber input as patient needs change.
Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on diagnosis and goals.
Respond to changes in patient/client condition and communicate with physician or supervisor.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; monitor and document effectiveness.
Review care plans and educate patient/family; coordinate care and discharge planning.
