Job summary

Care Options for Kids is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide dedicated pediatric home health nursing. This role emphasizes focused, one-on-one care in the child’s home, allowing you to apply clinical judgment with autonomy and support from a dedicated team.

You’ll treat pediatric patients with high acuity, build consistent relationships with families, and work in a calm, controlled environment. A strong emphasis on safety and adherence to care plans is essential.

Qualifications

• Current, active Florida RN license.
• Current BLS CPR card (in-person).
• G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train.
• TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF).
• Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed).
• Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website).

Responsibilities

• Provide focused, one-on-one care in the home.
• Deliver skilled nursing with autonomy and clinical judgment.
• Support families and build consistent relationships with child and family.
• Follow clear care plans and physician orders.
