Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Pediatric Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant to provide coordinated therapy to pediatric patients in the Garland, Plano and North Dallas area. The PTA works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and helps implement individualized treatment plans in the home setting.

Ideal candidates hold a Texas PTA license, possess a valid Texas Driver's License, and have experience with virtual therapy.

Qualifications

• Current Texas State License as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Current Texas Driver's License with reliable transportation.
• Virtual Therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and administer the therapy treatment plan for pediatric patients at home.
• Adhere to infection control and universal precautions during patient care.
• Accept assignments within education and competence and coordinate with supervising PT.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and team members.
• Meet continuing education requirements as required by the agency/licensing board.
• Demonstrate commitment, professional growth, and competency.
