Job summary

Harmony Home Health Service in Albuquerque is seeking a Pediatric Home Health Nurse to provide specialized care to children at home. The role focuses on promoting health and well-being for patients with chronic illnesses or disabilities, working closely with families, caregivers, and other health professionals to deliver patient-centered, compassionate care.

Shifts are offered as Part Time, with FT/PT/PRN options; you must hold NM or Compact RN/LPN license, CPR certification, and a valid

Qualifications

• RN/LPN license in NM or Compact.
• CPR (BLS) certified.
• Licensed and insured driver.
• TB test or Chest X-ray within the last 10 years.
• G-Tubes/Trachs experience preferred but not required.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills; nursing skills per competency checklist.
• Current health certificate and TB test must be on file.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance on file.
• Criminal background check required.
• Complete and pass skill evaluation test.

Responsibilities

• Spend quality time with each patient; provide companionship, comfort and medical care.
• Expand nursing, communication, and assessment skills with interventions and treatments.
• Simple charting on one patient per day; no double documentation.
• Work under Pediatric Supervisor and with parents, physicians, therapists, and caregivers.
• Provide one-on-one compassionate skilled nursing care at home.
• Deliver home-based treatments and therapies in a welcoming environment.
• Assess, intervene, and evaluate patient needs with knowledge of medical needs.
• Flexible hours with a supportive management team to fit your family’s schedule.
