Job summary

MGA Homecare is seeking a Pediatric Home Health Nurse (LPN/LVN) in Greensboro, NC to deliver patient care using the nursing process under limited supervision. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients, ensuring adherence to laws, policies, and agency guidelines.

Shifts include 3p-11p on weekdays, 8a-4:30p on Fridays, and 8a-5p on weekdays. Flexibility, reliability, and a valid NC nursing license are required.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in North Carolina (LPN/LVN).
• Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and care planning.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to cover shifts.
• Maintain compliance with policies and clinical guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled nursing as ordered on the plan of treatment and nursing care plan.
• Documentation of clinical notes, supplemental physical orders and nursing care plan.
• Skilled observations and significant changes in patient status are communicated to the Director of Clinical Services and/or Clinical Manager.
• Requests for modification of orders or additional orders are made based on the patient’s clinical status and skilled nursing judgment.
• Participation in Agency’s other mandated activities as requested by Agency Director such as In-Services.

Job Overview

Job Summary

Under limited supervision, the licensed practical/vocational nurse (LPN/LVN) is responsible for the delivery of patient care to assigned patients utilizing the nursing processes of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, and any standards, policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations that govern any facility the LPN/LVN is working at.

MGA Homecare is hiring a nurse for the following shifts.

3p-11p Monday through Friday.

8a-4:30p Fridays.

8a-5p Monday through Friday.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides skilled nursing as ordered on the plan of treatment and nursing care plan.
• Documentation of clinical notes, supplemental physical orders and nursing care plan.
• Skilled observations and significant changes in patient status are communicated to the Director of Clinical Services and/or Clinical Manager.
• Requests for modification of orders or additional orders are made based on the patient’s clinical status and skilled nursing judgment.
• Participation in Agency’s other mandated activities as requested by Agency Director such as In-Services.
• MGA policies, procedures and Handbook are adhered to.
• Reports on time and as scheduled in order to complete work within designated time.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation.
• Active NC Nursing license.
• Provide copy of current TB results or Chest x-ray.
• Provide copy of current CPR certification as per agency policy.
• Be flexible, organized and have the ability to exercise independent and sound judgment to perform the job duties/responsibilities.
