Job summary

Placements24 is partnering with a client to recruit a compassionate Pediatric Home Care Nurse to support children at home in Welkom. You will administer medications, monitor vital signs, and coordinate with physicians to deliver one-on-one care in a home setting.

Qualifications

• RN license valid in the country of employment.
• Experience in pediatric nursing or home healthcare.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor vital signs and the overall health status of pediatric patients.
• Provide wound care, manage medical equipment, and assist with rehabilitation exercises.
• Educate families on managing their child's health condition and care routines.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
• Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately in the electronic health record.
