Job summary

Riley Children’s Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide home-based therapy for pediatric patients, birth to three, through Indiana’s Early Intervention Program. The role emphasizes family-centered care in the child’s natural environment and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires PT licensure in Indiana, a Doctoral or equivalent PT degree as applicable, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Requires Doctoral Degree in physical therapy or Bachelor’s/Master’s in PT prior to 2016.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Current Physical Therapist license in the State of Indiana.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA.
• May require credentialling for certification as an early interventionist.
• Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department.

Responsibilities

• Provides home-based, direct therapy intervention and consultative services to patients.
• Works with children birth to three through Indiana’s Early Intervention Program.
• Educates caregivers on exercises and strategies to support development.
• Completes developmental assessments and refers for further services as needed.
• Collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals.
