The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Virginia School of Medicine is seeking an MD, MD/PhD, or equivalently trained physician to serve as Clinical Director for Pediatric Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy. This role involves joining our expanding Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and leading the development of our clinical program in collaboration with division, department, and institutional leadership.
The successful candidate will join a distinguished team of clinicians and scientists specializing in hematologic disorders, pediatric sarcomas, embryonal tumors, CNS malignancies, and advanced therapies such as stem cell transplant, CAR T cell, and immunotherapy. We value a collaborative environment and seek someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, committed to professionalism, integrity, accountability, and excellence.
The role involves both outpatient and inpatient care, teaching responsibilities, and participation in clinical/translational research and mentorship. The appointment level will be at Assistant or Associate Professor, with competitive compensation and benefits.
