Job summary

NYU Grossman School of Medicine's Roth lab in Pediatric Hematology / Oncology seeks a Research Technician to support immune-target discovery in B-cell and Hodgkin lymphoma. You will join a collaborative team of technicians, graduate students, clinicians, and post‑docs performing basic and translational research.

Responsibilities include high-throughput analyses, wet lab techniques (PCR, Western blotting, flow cytometry), and murine xenograft work.

• Strong attention to detail and documentation.

Responsibilities

• High throughput transcriptomic and proteomic analyses to identify novel targets for lymphoma therapies; T cell culture and co-culture assays; in vitro drug treatment experiments; sample preparation for downstream analyses; murine xenograft studies.
• Wet laboratory techniques including PCR, RT-PCR, Western blotting, cell culture, flow cytometry; mouse work with xenografts, biologics administration, and toxicity analysis; RNA-sequencing.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of Medical Center; maintain confidentiality of research information.
• Recognize problems and seek guidance; follow procedures; document and escalate as needed.
• Minimum 2-year commitment.
