Job summary

Sanford Health, the nation's largest rural health system, seeks a Pediatric Specialist for oncology with privileges to admit and treat patients birth to 21. This role includes subspecialty collaboration, emergency coverage, and adherence to credentialing policies.

A physician with MD/DO and pediatric residency is required; board certification or imminent certification is expected. The position offers a nationally competitive two-year salary guarantee and a robust benefit package including 401k,

Qualifications

MD or DO degree is required.
Board certification in a pediatric specialty is required or must be achieved within five years of residency.
Experience demonstrating clinical activity in pediatrics, with at least 50 pediatric patients in the last 12 months.
Qualified applicants must meet credentialing policies and residency requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide pediatric care from birth to age 21, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
Admit and manage patients in the appropriate setting, including NICU/PICU when applicable.
Coordinate with subspecialists and participate in emergency and consultative services.
Maintain adherence to hospital policies and participate in quality and credentialing processes.
